A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

We are seeking a talented Licensed Land Surveyor to lead and manage diverse projects in the Catskills and Hudson Valley region.
PLS Job Responsibilities:
Independently manage land surveying projects from proposal through completion while maintaining strong client relationships. Conduct and oversee boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Lead, mentor, and supervise field and office staff to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery. Prepare, review, and present survey maps, reports, and legal documentation to clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and leadership on multiple concurrent projects.
PLS Job Requirements:
Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field. 3-4+ years of professional land surveying experience, including 2-3+ years managing projects. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, modern surveying equipment, and related software. Strong knowledge of surveying principles, legal requirements, and land records, with excellent analytical skills.
