This is not a trainee position — you must be highly skilled in AutoCAD and fully capable of producing accurate survey drawings without supervision. Responsibilities include drafting surveys in AutoCAD, processing total station data, calculating angles and bearings, and researching property information such as deeds, maps, and historical surveys. Candidate must understand NYC field surveying practices and be able to interpret legal descriptions with accuracy. A laptop or computer capable of running drafting software is required.
Requirements:
Advanced AutoCAD skills — must be highly proficient, no beginners Experience drafting or surveying in NYC's five boroughs Ability to calculate angles, bearings, and coordinate geometry Experience with total station data Ability to read deeds, maps, and property descriptions Knowledge of NYC property research Basic field surveying knowledge Must have a laptop or computer

$20.00 - $50.00 per hour
