Most days are within an hour of Akron; occasional statewide travel with overnights. If you also want to contribute in the office between field assignments•record drawing, map production, general drafting•that's a plus, not a requirement. What You'll Do Lead a one or two-person field crew day to day Run construction, commercial, and residential projects Operate and maintain total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collectors Field reconnaissance, monument recovery, and control work Communicate with clients, contractors, and project managers Mentor field techs and enforce safety What We're Looking For 3+ years as a Crew Chief, or strong Survey Technician ready to step up Field experience with robotic total stations and

RTK GNSS

(Leica preferred; we'll train on equivalent Trimble/Topcon experience) Valid driver's license and clean MVR Willing to work outdoors year-round in Ohio conditions Nice to Have Working CAD knowledge•Carlson Survey preferred; strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D users welcome and we'll train on Carlson Ability to read deeds, plats, and legal descriptions Survey Intern (SI) or progress toward PS licensure Compensation and Benefits $24•38/hour, based on experience Overtime paid Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education support Company vehicle for field assignments How to
