What they do
A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description
Gold Rush Appraisal LLC is a rapidly growing nationwide real estate appraisal office. Our company is founded under the pledge of reimagining the appraisal processes by creating a streamlined workflow for our appraisers and maximizing the income potential. Our Appraisal Department has created a highly collaborative environment in which the appraiser is able to effectively delegate tasks and deliver high-quality products to our clients. Our collaborative approach eliminates some of the most stressful and tedious aspects of the appraisal profession, ultimately helping our appraisers achieve higher levels of productivity, greater job satisfaction, financial security, and a healthy work-life balance. The candidate will have to go through an internship before being offered the job. The candidate must be willing to eventually become a Certified Appraiser.
•The internship takes from 6-12 months depending on the applicant's background and previous work experience.

Complete appraisal assignments from home Complete necessary education Perform on-site inspections What we are hoping to see from the applicant: Have some industry knowledge At least an Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics Bachelor's Degree in any discipline preferred Be available on short notice Must cooperate with the office in marketing efforts
