Job Description

Survey Tech & Associates is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Office Manager to oversee daily business operations, technical production, and staff management for a land surveying firm. They review and seal legal plans, manage project budgets and schedules, mentor field and CAD crews, and act as the main link between clients and technical teams. Core Responsibilities •
Technical Oversight & Sealing:
Review, sign, and seal boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and topographic maps. •
Project Management:
Manage project scopes, cost estimates, proposals, and deadlines to ensure work stays on budget. •
Staff Supervision:
Direct field crews, office technicians, and CAD drafters, providing daily task assignments and performance reviews. •
Quality Control:
Enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards for all field data and final deliverables. •
Client Relations:
Maintain relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and public agencies. Required Qualifications •
Licensure:
Active Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license and ability to obtain Ohio PLS license. •
Experience :
5 to 12+ years of progressive land surveying experience, including prior leadership or project management. •
Software & Tech:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/GNSS data collection tools, and boundary law principles. •
Communication:
Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills to handle both field coordination and business administration.
Pay:
From $1,800.00 per week
