Job Locations US-TN-Johnson City Category Survey / Geospatial Type Full-Time Overview As a Professional Surveyor with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Johnson City, Tennessee office, you'll work alongside Senior Managers and Executives to grow and support an established survey practice. You'll lead the efforts in identifying opportunities for growing the practice, lead business development and marketing efforts, and implement sales strategies to provide sustainable growth of the practice. You'll work with other practices within CEC to provide an integrated approach to addressing our client's needs. You'll provide technical oversight to include quality assurance and quality control of procedures and work product, and monitor field and office procedures to assure a high level of consistent work product and service. You'll oversee a wide range of project types including Existing Conditions and Topographic Surveys, Boundary and
ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Surveys, Utility and Route Surveys, Subdivisions and Statutory Plats, Construction layout and As-Built Surveys. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of surveyors and technicians, fostering professional growth and a collaborative culture
- Oversee project quality and safety standards, ensuring accurate deliverables and efficient work-flows
- Recruit and develop top talent to strengthen the practice and support long-term growth
- Collaborate with the current survey leadership team and other managers to identify new opportunities and expand services

Qualifications Registered Land Surveyor in Tennessee
10+ years of land surveying experience
Demonstrated success leading business development and client management efforts
Experience leading and mentoring staff
Experience working within a multidisciplinary consulting practice preferred
