is a licensed firm by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors. Premier Surveying LLC. headquarters is located in Plano, Texas. Our experienced team includes a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, several highly skilled field crew chiefs, a team of skilled CAD technicians, an experienced Operations Director and our energetic and experienced Sales team. Premier Surveying LLC. uses the latest in surveying technology, including Topcon Long Range Reflectorless, Bluetooth Total Stations, Topcon Data Collectors, Trimble and Topcon RTK network, GPS and Robotics, AutoCAD Civil 3D and much more. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crew Chief to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of surveying equipment and boundary retracement methods. As a Crew Chief, you will lead field survey crews, ensure the accuracy of survey data, and support project completion in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage field survey crews in performing various types of surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking.
- Utilize and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS units, data collectors, and levels.
- Conduct boundary retracement surveys to establish or re-establish property lines.
- Interpret and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain detailed field notes, sketches, and survey reports.
- Coordinate with team managers, RPLS, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all field operations.
- Train and mentor junior survey crew members.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS units, and data collectors.
- Strong knowledge of boundary retracement methods and principles.
- Ability to read and interpret survey maps, plats, and construction plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
