Driver's License Attention to detail Trimble Full Job Description SiteTwin is growing and we're looking for an experienced field technician to join our Austin team. If you've worked with private utility locating, concrete scanning, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), or GIS data collection, we'd like to talk. This is not an 811 production locating job. Our work supports engineers, contractors, municipalities, utilities, and facility owners on projects where accurate underground utility information matters. What You'll Do Perform private utility locating using electromagnetic (EM) locating equipment. Perform Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) investigations for underground utilities, concrete scanning, and subsurface anomaly detection. Collect GPS/GIS field data for utility mapping projects. Read civil plans, utility records, and construction drawings. Produce accurate field documentation including photos, sketches, and utility observations. Work directly with project managers, engineers, contractors, and facility owners in the field. Travel throughout Central Texas with occasional overnight travel on larger projects. Preferred Experience Private utility locating SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Concrete scanning Radiodetection, Vivax, Leica, GSSI, ImpulseRadar, or similar equipment
