Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Civil Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading field surveying activities, performing construction layout work, and collecting accurate data for sitework and utility projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Conduct field surveying activities to gather precise measurements and data on project sites. Operate surveying equipment such as Nikon Total Stations to complete construction layouts for sitework and utilities. Perform construction surveys, including layout work for buildings, roads, utilities, and other infrastructure components. Collect accurate as-built data from project sites to ensure documentation aligns with design specifications. Assist in resolving on-site surveying challenges efficiently and accurately. Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments regularly to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to facilitate smooth project execution. Requirements Proven experience in field surveying, including construction surveys and layout work. Proficiency in operating surveying equipment such as Nikon Total Stations or similar devices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and measurement tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols. Good problem-solving skills with the capacity to address on-site challenges effectively. Knowledge of survey software and data management tools is preferred. Relevant certifications or licenses in land surveying or civil engineering are advantageous.

Experience:

Must have 3-5 years of hands-on field survey experience (construction staking and layout experience preferred)
