In this role, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily field activities on concrete construction projects. The Field Man works closely with project managers, concrete crews, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Responsibilities 1) Monitor daily concrete construction activities and crew performance. 2) Coordinate concrete pours, formwork, reinforcement, finishing and curing operations. 3) Ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. 4) Check job-site conditions, materials, equipment, and manpower requirements. 5) Coordinate with concrete suppliers, pump operators, subcontractors and inspectors. 6) Track daily production, manpower, materials, and project progress. 7) Identify fields issues and communicate them to the Project Manager or Superintendent. 8) Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized job site. 9) Inspect completed concrete work for quality and workmanship. 10) Assist with scheduling and planning upcoming concrete activities. 11) Maintain daily field reports, delivery tickets, and other project documentation. Qualifications Proven experience with land surveying techniques including GPS surveying, total station operation, construction layout surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and civil engineering projects. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation or similar programs for drafting and data visualization. Strong understanding of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles relevant to surveying tasks. Familiarity with GIS platforms like ArcGIS for spatial data analysis and mapping purposes. Ability to operate various surveying equipment including total stations, GPS units (Trimble GNSS), 3D scanners, LiDAR systems, levels, schematics tools, and hand tools. Knowledge of legal descriptions related to property boundaries and land parcels. Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail in field measurements and record keeping. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working outdoors in varying weather conditions during field activities.
