What they do
A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description
What you will do:
Set up, operate, and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS units, and levels. Assist the Party Chief in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys. Record and document accurate field data and observations. Place stakes, flags, and markers as directed for construction layouts or property boundaries. Ensure proper calibration and care of all survey instruments. Communicate effectively with team members to support project goals and timelines.What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in surveying is a plus 1-2 years of field surveying experience preferred. Familiarity with modern survey equipment and data collection software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The things about us you will appreciate!
