A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Seeking experienced Senior Survey Party Chiefs to join our elite field operations team. Key Responsibilities Seeking experienced Senior Survey Party Chiefs to join our elite field operations team. If you're a proven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and mentoring others, we want to meet you. Our work spans commercial, municipal, residential, construction, and reality capture sectors-and we equip our teams with the latest tools and technology to deliver exceptional results. Lead 1-2 person field crews on a variety of projects: Boundary, Topographic, ALTA, Construction Staking, and more Interpret plans, legal documents, and staking reports with clarity and confidence Ensure accurate and timely data collection using Trimble equipment and internal software systems Train and mentor junior crew members, promoting high standards of quality and professionalism Maintain thorough field notes and communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and internal teams Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of land surveying field experience (leadership experience preferred) Proficient with Trimble equipment and Trimble Access workflows Valid driver's license with a clean record Ability to work outdoors in all conditions and lift 50+ lbs Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset Preferred Experience Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, and/or construction layout/site work Familiarity with Trimble surveying equipment Experience operating drones for surveying or reality capture; FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay + overtime opportunities Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (includes 100% employer-paid options) 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick days Voluntary Life Insurance Employer-paid Career, Leadership, and Management Training, offering clear advancement opportunitiesBenefits
