A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description

Job Description Our client is looking to hire an experience Survey Instrument Operator or a Party Chief as a Party Chief to train to become a Party Chief in the next 6 months to 1 year. This role is 100% field base but requires an office presence each morning to meet with the crew and travel to sites in Chesapeake VA

Operate survey instruments in the field while being trained by field trainer
Be ready to lead and train others!
