A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Permanent Apply for this job now Job Description Our client a charity that provides housing, care, and support services for older people across country have approached us with the following vacancy : We have a need for a Property Surveyor for our East Anglia region on a FTC of up to 6 months.
Overview :
To carry out the project management of a range of specific asset management projects from inception to completion. Delivery of a customer focused, high quality responsive repairs, empty property/void works and planned maintenance and improvement programme, maximising the resources available. Focus on delivering excellent customer service Be responsible and accountable for project delivery, control and reporting of expenditure against budgets for projects and to meet or exceed agreed targets. The areas covered are as follows: Essex, Bedford, Hitchin, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Northampton, Newport Pagnall and Peterborough, looking for someone to start in the next 2 weeks so ideally you'll be immediately available or are available at short notice. The candidates will need to live within their respective areas for it to be viable as we do expect regular visits to homes and schemes.
