Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

The Position:
Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Construction Survey Leader will perform various land surveying functions on projects throughout Wisconsin. Prepare construction survey, machine control fee proposals, manage scope, budget and staffing needs Complete the monthly financial reporting workflows for construction survey related tasks Monitor performance data to maintain realistic production rates for survey tasks Oversee and develop survey team members to maximize their potential Operate land surveying tools (GNSS & Robotic Total Station) Prepare construction staking setups using AutoCAD Civil3D & Trimble Business Center Manage 3D machine control model development standards and review machine control models Lead construction survey and grade setting best practices training efforts Ability to work independently and as an active member of the team
Requirements:
7 + years of work-related experience. Must have Professional Land Surveyor License Maintain a positive attitude and possesses good work ethic. Demonstrate leadership skills to mentor and direct team members Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
