Job Description
Sweep is hiring an Associte Platform & Sustainability Expert to help customers implement our platform, track their carbon and ESG metrics, and drive impactful sustainability initiatives. As an Associate Platform & Sustainability Expert (P&SE ) within the Delivery Team, you will support customers through their sustainability journey as they implement Sweep in their organisation. You will act as a key delivery contact between Sweep's platform and customers' sustainability objectives, ensuring successful adoption of Sweep. You will do this by working directly with customers or alongside our partners, who act as an extension of our delivery team. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, external partners, and the wider Sweep ecosystem to ensure customers become confident, autonomous users of our platform. As an Associate P&SE, you will speak our customers' language and turn their feedback into actionable insights for our product teams. This is an early-career role based in Denver, Colorado, open to recent graduates, early professionals, or career switchers who bring relevant experience from adjacent fields such as consulting, project management, SaaS delivery, or environmental science. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but is not required. Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing? As an Associate Platform & Sustainability Expert, your responsibilities will span across these key areas: Customer & Partner Implementation Lead your own customer onboarding and implementation projects as the primary delivery contact, working within proven delivery frameworks and with the support of senior team members when complexity requires it. Configure the Sweep platform to fit customers' sustainability use cases, including tree structure setup, survey design, data entry, and historical data integration. Design and facilitate customer workshops, acting as a credible platform and sustainability point of contact. Anticipate and navigate challenges during delivery, escalating early when needed and keeping stakeholders informed. Work with our consulting and reseller partners in the same spirit: supporting them through delivery, helping them navigate the platform, and ensuring their customers achieve the same quality of outcome as those you work with directly. Ensure smooth handovers to Customer Success post-implementation 2. Platform Expertise & Customer Training Deliver tailored training and enablement sessions, adapting your approach to suit each customer's needs, context, and level of maturity. Guide customers through best practices for implementation, reporting, and data management, helping them build autonomy and confidence on the Sweep platform. Help maintain and continuously improve enablement materials, guides, and playbooks, drawing on your hands-on delivery experience. Leverage Sweep's AI features to accelerate and improve the quality of delivery. Guide customers in understanding and using these features effectively, helping them distinguish between AI suggestions and validated outputs, and reinforcing the importance of human oversight. Share learnings from your projects within the squad, contributing to a culture where knowledge moves freely across the team. 3. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management Manage your own workload reliably across your assigned projects: track tasks, meet commitments, and flag risks before they become problems. Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear timelines and proactive communication throughout delivery. Contribute to clean documentation and delivery hygiene so the whole team can rely on what you produce. 4.Sustainability Advisory & Product Feedback Apply your platform and sustainability knowledge to help customers and partners understand how Sweep connects to their reporting requirements and carbon accounting goals. Translate customer sustainability needs into specific, actionable configurations and workflows within the Sweep platform. Stay current on sustainability regulations, standards, and market developments, and bring relevant updates to the team. Stay informed on how AI is changing sustainability data management and disclosure practices, so you can speak credibly to customers about Sweep's AI capabilities and their implications for data quality and regulatory compliance. Gather feedback from customers and partners throughout delivery and translate it into clear, structured insights for Sweep's product teams. 5. Customer Relationship & Success Focus Build trust with customer project teams through responsive, clear, and professional communication. Understand customer needs and expectations, and ensure they feel heard and well-supported throughout the project. Develop the ability to manage expectations and handle difficult conversations, supported by senior colleagues as you build confidence. Drive customers toward platform autonomy, long-term advocacy, and measurable sustainability outcomes. At Sweep, artificial intelligence is part of how we work, learn, and build. Every team member uses AI tools daily to speed up operations, improve decision making, and unlock creativity. We don't expect you to be an expert on day one, but we do expect curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and the desire to use AI as a true partner in your work. Whether it's analyzing information, drafting content, improving workflows, designing better employee experiences, or supporting distributed teams, you'll use AI to work faster and smarter. We provide guidance, tools, and best practices so you can get the most out of it. We're looking for candidates who already have hands-on experience with AI tools in a professional setting. You should be comfortable using AI to support your daily work, enhance productivity, and create new solutions. If you naturally reach for AI to amplify what you do, you'll feel right at home here. That sounds just right for me. What do I need to bring? Glad you asked. This is who we're looking for: Qualifications A degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, finance, engineering, or a related field is a plus, though we are equally open to candidates who demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience through other routes.
