Job Summary:
Equinix is hiring a Sustainability Senior Analyst in the Sustainability Program Office to support Equinix in achieving our climate ambitions. This individual will report to the Environmental Sustainability Program Lead within the Sustainability Program Office and will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the company-wide decarbonization strategy to meet our climate targets and commitments. Candidates will have a strong grasp of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting practices and key decarbonization levers within the ICT sector and are comfortable working cross-functionally to drive results.
Responsibilities:
Support data collection, analysis, and documentation across key environmental sustainability domains, including climate, resource use, and nature‐related topics.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of measurement frameworks and strategies related to circularity, materials management, and environmental performance.
Support Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory management, including methodology application, data quality improvements, and readiness for external review or assurance across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Assist in integrating outputs from environmental impact, dependency, and risk assessments into broader sustainability strategies and decision‐making processes.
Contribute analytical and technical support to climate‐related strategy and planning, including alignment with emerging regulatory and disclosure frameworks.
Communicate key analyses, progress, and insights to internal stakeholders through clear documentation, reporting materials, and presentations.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in corporate sustainability, environmental strategy, ESG analytics, or related roles, with demonstrated hands‐on contribution to environmental programs
Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred)
Working knowledge of environmental sustainability frameworks and disclosure or regulatory standards such as GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB, CDP, GRI, Science Based Targets initiative, or similar.
Exposure to or experience with circularity, resource efficiency, materials management, biodiversity, or nature‐related sustainability topics, including development or application of measurement approaches.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex datasets, assessments, or technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Experience contributing to cross‐functional initiatives or project‐based workstreams, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders through clear written materials, documentation, and presentations.
