Test Technician Job Description An opportunity exists for a Test Engineering Technician Level II in Littleton, CO. The team is dedicated to using engineering talents to design and deploy cutting-edge solutions in Power Distribution, Embedded Monitoring and Control, Power Conversion, lighting, and Camera-based solutions, revolutionizing spaceflight. Responsibilities Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration. Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures using data acquisition systems and established procedures. Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware. Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion. Perform maintenance on test fixtures. Generate ideas for potential process improvements. Assist with non-conformance investigations. Essential Skills Experience in electronics, electrical assembly, and testing equipment. Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and schematic blueprints. Familiarity with circuit boards and testing equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 4 or more years of relevant experience. Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters. Experience in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing. Understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100. Excellent manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts. Experience using electronics equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, and DAQs. Strong technical capability and mechanical inclination with the ability to follow and execute procedures. Experience in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred. Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously. Ability to provide intuitive and timely solutions for immediate prototype production. Effective communication abilities and self-motivation. High standard of quality workmanship. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Littleton, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
