Soldering Technician Job Description As an Electronics Technician, you will conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical and electronic components. Your role will involve ensuring efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects while complying with quality performance standards. Responsibilities Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components. Analyze issues down to the component level. Maintain efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects. Read and interpret schematic diagrams. Comply with quality performance standards. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow warehouse safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned based on warehouse support. Essential Skills Proficient in electronics and troubleshooting. Skilled in reading schematic diagrams. Proficient in utilizing test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and volt meters. Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques, including surface mount and thru-hole techniques. Solid understanding of technology systems and applications. Proficient in computer skills for precise data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable. Ability to handle Hard Drive devices and adhere to ESD policy standards. Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a warehouse setting where you may need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. The shift hours are from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tolleson, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.67 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
