Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-3:30

PM Hours:

50 hours/week, including 10 hours of overtime

3+ Months | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Position Summary This position will support the assembly, testing, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of aerospace systems and components. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on aerospace or fabrication experience, and the ability to independently perform testing and troubleshooting while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform hands-on testing activities including assembly, calibration, inspection, and functional testing of aerospace systems and components. Set up and operate test equipment and associated mechanical and electrical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and test-related issues with minimal supervision. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation . Take ownership of assigned testing tasks and portions of larger team projects. Support fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification of test equipment and infrastructure. Accurately document test results, inspections, discrepancies, and completed work. Complete test reports and work orders in a timely manner. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, quality, and overall efficiency. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to successfully complete testing campaigns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace testing, fabrication, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or a similar technical environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting abilities. Ability to perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and/or test equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to effectively communicate and work within a team environment. Comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights when required. Preferred Experience The following experience is a plus but not required : Aerospace or advanced manufacturing experience. Mechanical and/or electrical test equipment. Test stand assembly, operation, or maintenance. Cryogenic systems. Hydraulic systems. Pneumatic systems. Creating, reviewing, or completing test documentation and work orders. Providing technical guidance or mentoring less-experienced technicians.
