Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fan and pump assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with test equipment, and the ability to work with complex test systems and assemblies. Responsibilities Perform testing on fan and pump assemblies using mechanical and electrical test equipment Set up and operate hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and nitrogen test systems Configure and verify test stands, fixtures, and plumbing connections before testing Work with 120V to 480V, 3-phase, and 400Hz electrical systems Use computerized and manual data acquisition equipment to record and analyze test results Troubleshoot and repair issues identified during testing Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures Build and test prototype or experimental devices from engineering sketches Make minor modifications to fixtures and prototype parts using shop equipment Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following safety procedures and FOD requirements Support manufacturing activities, training, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years of related testing or manufacturing experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems Knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment Experience with oscilloscopes, flowmeters, transducers, vibration equipment, and data acquisition systems preferred Air conditioning or HVAC experience is a plus Machine shop experience is preferred HA01
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
