Job Overview Conducting a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical test on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unity failure by performing the following duties. Read test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, Wire diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedures and equipment and other documents such as prints, work instructions, procedures without assistance. Build and repairs test fixtures used on shop floor. Calibrate inspection or test instruments according to specifications. Compare results with specifications and records test data or plots test results on graph. Analyze test results on defective units to determine cause of failure. EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate Experience with inventory process. Ability to read and interpret documents such as employee manual, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
