This role requires a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for electronics testing and assembly. The Test Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of components and systems. Responsibilities Assemble, calibrate, and test components, sub-assemblies, and matching units. Solder PCBs, make wire harnesses, and install simple electrical wiring and water cooling pipes for test stands. Receive priorities and work instructions from the Supervisor, completing assigned tasks on time while following company safety procedures and best practices on the manufacturing floor. Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical manuals; raise issues and assist in drafting SOPs if they are not available. Plan repair processes logically based on troubleshooting skills and diagnosis results. Record service logs, calibration data, billing hours, and draft quotes. Follow automated testing scripts and support data extraction from equipment. Learn and utilize industry-specific tools such as network analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes to test electronics. Assist in packaging for shipping and support engineering tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or general education development (GED) or equivalent. Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in repair analysis. Proficiency in using tools and soldering. Good communication skills in English and ability to follow work instructions and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet all required deadlines. Strong reporting skills for technical updates and hardware status to supervisors and engineering teams. Organizational skills to maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-protected work environment. Hands-on experience using network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment. Willingness to learn new tasks, tools, and technologies independently. Flexibility to work long hours and/or weekends from time to time based on operational needs. Required Work Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Benefits Competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $30, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
