Position:
Test Technician II PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a skilled Test Technician II to support aerospace and defense testing operations in Clearwater, FL. This role is responsible for performing automated system-level testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before reaching the customer. If you have aerospace manufacturing experience, electronic testing knowledge, and an active security clearance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading defense team. ✈️ Key Responsibilities ✅ Perform automated system-level testing by following detailed written procedures ✅ Accurately document test events, failures, and results in data books and e-factory systems ✅ Conduct test setup and teardown of equipment and cables ✅ Test multiple product lines and work across various programs ✅ Operate computers, software applications, tools, and office equipment as needed ✅ Review technical data and identify anomalies to prevent defects from reaching customers ✅ Distinguish between system, station, and software-related issues ✅ Follow established work instructions, procedures, and quality standards ✅ Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives ✅ Collaborate with Test Team members and Engineering Support personnel ✅ Work autonomously while maintaining safety and quality requirements ✅
Required Qualifications Must Have:
Active Security Clearance Minimum 2 years of Aerospace or related industry experience Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience Minimum 2 years of electronic testing experience Experience performing automated testing using detailed written instructions Ability to review technical data and identify anomalies Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint ⭐ Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree in Electronics Knowledge of Guidance & Navigation Electronics Previous experience testing aerospace electronics Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team environment 🎯 Why Join PDS Defense?
