Key duties typically fall into the following core areas: Test System Automation & Software

Develop Test Scripts:

Write and maintain automated test scripts and software using programs such as Labview, MATLAB or Python to test devices.

Integrate Systems:

Connect different hardware platforms, measurement sensors, and control software to ensure seamless data flow and communication. Preferable to have knowledge of GPIB, RS232, National Instruments, and NI Hardware. Calibration & Testing Operations

Establish Test Protocols:

Translate product requirements into detailed test cases, Design Verification Test (DVT) plans, and acceptance procedures.

Execute Testing:

Run Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) through defined programs and test sequences.

Troubleshoot Anomalies:

Diagnose hardware, software, and system issues using tools like oscilloscopes and power meters. Determine root causes for test failures and develop corrective actions. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure Traceability:

Verify that calibrated assets and test setups are directly traceable to national or international standards.

Maintain Compliance:

Ensure laboratory testing operations adhere to strict regulatory and quality frameworks, such as

ISO/IEC 17025.

Document Results:

Generate test reports, calibration certificates, and evaluation packages for stakeholders.
