Summary:
Perform duties to operate lab equipment (e.g., multi-meters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters, and oscilloscopes).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform basic counterfeit detection testing such as electrical AC/DC test at specified ambient temperatures. Based on Traveler criteria, Test Plan test parameter setup conditions, instrumentation, and HW/SW requirements, implement specific Test Production solution. Train Test Operators on test data collection process. Troubleshoot general mechanical or electrical test setup related problems. Review specific product data sheets and instrumentation manuals. Document and collect supporting problem information, fill out standard related forms, consult with Test Engineering and Production group in order to find final disposition and resolution. Review automated and non-automated test data collection results against Test Parameter requirements prior to moving orders to next operation, assuring corresponding accuracy and completeness. Support final Test Report creation process. Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
An electronic technician with experience in a test environment and/or a bench technician with experience in troubleshooting or design related duties. Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent coursework and experience 1 to 3 years of bench technician experience.
Technical skills:
Identify resistors and capacitors using part number standards. Be familiar with logic truth tables to identify outputs when given input levels. Understanding of general test equipment. Familiarity with schematic symbols and their meaning. Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Standard skills: Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to meet consistent work attendance and be on time. Ability to meet quality standards and maintain schedules. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Oral and written communication skills.
