JOB PURPOSE

Saminco Solutions seeks a skilled Electronics Test Technician to perform electronics testing and ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

oAccomplish Testing workflow by following daily work schedule oPerform complex electronic and software tests in accordance with defined procedures or guidelines while working with exposed voltages up to 2000V AC and/or DC. oAssist in creating, documenting, and/or updating test procedures oFollow and improves R D and test processes. Document and/or maintain pertinent engineering / Test records. oAssist in the assembly and/or maintenance of test fixtures, load banks, and other components associated with product / PCB testing. oProvide support to engineering staff as needed. oProcess Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) under the direction of engineers or Test Dept. Manager. o Cleaning, Repair, and testing of RMA & New product when applicable. o Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment..

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education/ o Associate's degree in Electronics technology or equivalent based on academic credentials evaluation, Licensure/ training and/or experience Credentials Experience o One year experience as an Electronics Test Technician or related, with strong capability in electrical test Special o Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits Knowledge/ o Ability to read Printed Circuit Board schematics & identify function of circuit design Skills o Familiarity with modern test equipment o Must be able to successfully pass Saminco's Basic Electronic Exam o Experience using common electronic test equipment o Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems o Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and associated applications o Attendance/ o To maintain a safe and productive work environment, Saminco, Inc. expects employees to be Punctuality reliable and to be punctual in reporting for scheduled work.
