Position Summary The Electro-Mechanical Tester is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and verifying the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, components, and finished products. This role utilizes electronic test equipment such as voltmeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, electrical, and mechanical testing of assemblies and finished products. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical failures. Document test results, defects, and inspection findings accurately. Verify product compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve product issues. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical testing, electronics testing, manufacturing, or a related environment.
Experience using:
Digital Voltmeters (DVM) Bench Power Supplies Oscilloscopes Electronic test and measurement equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and test documentation. Preferred Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. Key Skills Electrical troubleshooting Oscilloscope operation Digital voltmeter and power supply usage Schematic and blueprint reading Root cause analysis Attention to detail Team collaboration and communication Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish colors for wire and component identification.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Shift:
