Job Description

Overview:

This Candidate will test, troubleshoot, repair and configure all types of POS Equipment. The POS Technician must be competent in personal computer technology (memory, CPU, hard drive, mainboard, and power supply). Must have good trouble shooting skills.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Test, troubleshoot and configure all types of POS equipment Perform extended testing for all units Test computers and related parts using diagnostic software. Disassemble and reassembling various pieces of equipment Soldering skills a plus

Requirements:

High school diploma and/or College Courses. A 2 Year Electronics Degree a Plus Experience with IBM, NCR, Micros, Epson, would be a plus. A+ Certification 5+ Year's of Experience Basic computer skills necessary, must be familiar with personal computers and basic office software. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics is desired. Must possess good organizational and logical troubleshooting skills. Must be self motivated and show aptitude for learning. Professional demeanor with the ability to thrive in a in a fast paced, but casual/fun business environment Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time management skills
