Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician III in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.
Job duties include:
Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure/process creation, shipment/receipt and vendor coordination of batteries. Provide test and evaluation of various battery chemistries, including Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, Lithium Calcium and Lead Acid. Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature/humidity cycling, pressure/altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or related field. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start. Must be a U.S. citizen Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to read electrical drawings Must have excellent communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS
Understanding of technical, voltage, test equipment 5-7 years practical experience in a power source laboratory
