Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Technician Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Technician to support product-level testing within our electrical and electronics validation lab. The individual will be responsible for executing EMC testing as per the defined test plans, ensuring accurate setup, data collection, and reporting across various product lines prior to market release. Responsibilities Execute EMC validation testing based on established test plans. Own the full lifecycle of product testing from setup through final reporting. Ensure accuracy in test setup, data collection, and results documentation. Communicate results and issues to the EMC Test Engineering team. Partner closely with product engineers to ensure compliance and performance. Maintain communication with validation engineering teams across shifts. Support multi-product line validation efforts prior to production release. Maintain a clean and safe lab environment. Utilize problem-solving and prior knowledge to independently drive testing to completion. Essential Skills Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Technology, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of experience as an Electronics/Test Technician. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to work in a multi-shift environment and collaborate across teams. Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. Exposure to electrical test tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with EMC testing and validation processes. Problem-solving skills to independently drive projects to completion. Work Environment This position is on the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12 PM, with some flexibility for earlier starts or four 10-hour shifts. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 1-2 months. The role involves working hands-on with cutting-edge automotive technology in a fast-paced, innovation-driven lab environment, testing the systems that power safer, more connected vehicles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
