We're seeking motivated individuals eager to make an impact within our forward-thinking team. As a Test Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our innovative AGV systems perform flawlessly. KION Mobile Automation (KMA) the world-leading, fast-growing, innovative frontrunner in the development of mobile robotics, robotic fleet controllers, and cloud-based fleet logistics management systems. KMA has a focus on Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. AGVs are fully autonomous robots that move and transport items in production, warehouse, and distribution centers without manual intervention or permanent conveying systems.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will do in
This Role:
Test electronic assemblies before they are installed in upper-level assemblies. Repair parts returned from customers, ensuring they meet our high standards. Power up Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and test vehicles in a simulation of the customer's system. Assist the Engineering team with test track setup, contributing to the seamless integration of our systems. Ensure that the end product meets company standards, providing world-class solutions to our clients. Work on multiple projects to support AGVs ship dates, demonstrating your ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. Inform Engineering of all issues and facilitate issue resolution, ensuring continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned by Dematic, showcasing your versatility and dedication to our mission.
What We Are Looking for:
A certificate from a trade/technical school or equivalent experience preferred. 1-3 years of electronics or testing experience. Proficiency with MS Office, Windows OS, IP, and Networking, allowing you to navigate our systems with ease. Practical understanding of electronics, including the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. The capability to operate data collection devices, such as oscilloscopes, meters, sensors, and gauges. A hands-on approach, enjoying involvement in building, testing, and debugging tools throughout the development cycle. A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving with close attention to detail. Self-motivation, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and an outcome-focused approach. #LI-JR1 #In-Post
