Review project instructions and blueprints to identify test objectives, procedural requirements, and necessary equipment. Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components, machinery, and setup equipment to support laboratory testing needs. Draft detailed drawings or sketches required for the fabrication of test equipment or setup components. Maintain laboratory testing machinery, manage sample and test data storage, and safely operate machine hydraulics and pneumatics.
