Job Description

NVH Technician - Saginaw, MI Pay rate: 22.35 1st Shift - (May move to 2nd shift)
Position Description:
Supports Noise and Vibration (NVH) Engineers and Validation Test Activities for Products. A-Shift full-time position. (Potential future assignment may lead to a B-Shift position.) Candidates will have the following responsibilities: Operate and stewardship of the NVH test Bench. Continuous support in development and validation test requirements. Providing NVH test support in test design, test preparation, data collection with basic data analysis. Follow laboratory test instructions to ensure proper test execution and meet scheduled timing commitments. Testing documentation/reporting, part handling/lifting (up to 60lbs). Maintaining lab safety protocol to ensure safety to self and other co-workers, along with keeping a cleanliness lab. Skills Required Teachable, self-starter that can work alone or as part of an integral team. Must be able to self-organize job priorities and work on many tasks at one time. Good oral and written communication skills and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic machine operation. Basic electrical/electronics. Proficient with all types of hand tools. Electrical Instrumentation, transducers, signal conditioning, is a plus. Experience Required 1-3 years of relevant experience. Education Required Associate degree or 3-year military experience
