Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a crash test technician to support and maintain our automotive clients ATD/Crash Dummy fleet testing operations. We are looking for a hard-working automotive engineering test technician who is eager to use their skills to prepare, maintain, and seat crash test dummies. You will be apart of the vehicle Safety Test Team and Crash Test Laboratory. The Vehicle Safety Test Team is part of the Vehicle Safety Integration Department which focuses on the physical crash testing and passive safety for all of the company's products. $23/hr to $27/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements o High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Automotive Technology field and/or experience in a crash/safety test facility o 1-3 years of hands-on technician experience with strong mechanical aptitude o Experience with assembly/disassembly, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical or electronic components o Strong electrical aptitude, including soldering, desoldering, wiring, and use of a digital multimeter (DMM) o Experience with sensor, instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, or electronic device repair o Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment, balancing hands-on repairs, inventory management, and test preparation activities o Experience documenting processes, following detailed procedures, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and traceability o Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail with little room for errorBenefits
