We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Test Technician I to support the testing and assembly of production equipment and components. This is an entry-level opportunity requiring little to no previous experience. Training will be provided. The successful candidate will follow established procedures to set up test equipment, perform basic tests, troubleshoot routine issues, and accurately document results. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is comfortable using tools and interested in developing a technical career. Key Responsibilities Set up test apparatus and conduct basic tests on production assemblies and units. Follow written procedures, test methods, diagrams, schematics, and established sequences. Assemble units and production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjust and calibrate systems as instructed. Modify equipment by adding, removing, or changing components based on diagrams and sketches. Identify routine malfunctions and make adjustments or replace parts as directed. Use hand tools, small power tools, measuring devices, and standard test instruments. Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical components. Record test results and maintain accurate technical documentation. Review data for accuracy and report discrepancies. Support quality inspections and process-control activities. Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No college degree required. No previous professional experience required. Basic mechanical or technical aptitude. Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, schematics, and standard procedures. Comfortable using hand tools, small power tools, and basic measuring equipment. Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations and accurately record data. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a structured, closely supervised environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with assembly, production, testing, maintenance, repair, or manufacturing. Vocational, technical, automotive, electronics, robotics, or mechanical coursework. Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, gauges, calipers, or similar instruments. Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical components.
