Onsite Role Summary:
The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for executing electrical testing in a laboratory environment in accordance with approved test protocols, procedures, and work instructions. This role supports engineering teams by performing accurate, repeatable testing, operating specialized electrical test equipment, and documenting test results.
Responsibilities:
Execute electrical testing according to established test protocols, procedures, and work instructions. Set up test articles, fixtures, and electrical test equipment. Operate equipment including DC and AC power supplies, power analyzers, digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, function/signal generators, electronic loads, and data acquisition equipment. Accurately collect, record, and document test results. Identify and communicate test anomalies, equipment issues, or unexpected results to engineering. Support troubleshooting of test setups and equipment. Maintain organized test stations and ensure equipment is used within applicable calibration requirements. Follow laboratory safety procedures, including applicable electrical safety requirements. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support project testing schedules and priorities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of experience as an electronic technician required. Demonstrated experience operating DC and AC power supplies, power analyzers, digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, function/signal generators, electronic loads, and data acquisition equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree (AA). Prior experience working in the medical device industry.
Pay:
