8:00 AM-4:30 PM The Test Technician will work under general supervision to support the production of high-quality medical device instruments. This position involves detailed testing and assembly of electronic components, electromechanical subassemblies, and finished medical devices within a controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic testing, electromechanical assembly, technical documentation, and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. Job Responsibilities Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment. Investigate test results and document findings accurately and in a timely, readable manner. Perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices as required. Read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and complex test procedures. Provide guidance to others regarding manuals, test procedures, documentation, and specialized equipment when needed. Maintain accurate production and quality records to ensure Device History Records (DHRs) and related documentation are complete and accurate. Maintain product and component traceability and communicate quality issues appropriately. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives designed to improve production processes, quality, and efficiency. Prioritize daily assignments by determining the appropriate sequence and timing of jobs based on importance and production needs. Represent the company professionally during facility tours by demonstrating appropriate techniques and sharing approved information. Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. Comply with FDA regulations, ISO requirements, company policies, SOPs, operating procedures, processes, and assigned tasks. Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures and department-specific requirements. Maintain positive and professional communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience with electromechanical assemblies, electronic manufacturing, technical certifications, or related experience preferred. Electronic assembly and testing experience within the medical device industry preferred . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical procedures. Ability to accurately document testing and investigation findings. Strong attention to detail, quality, safety, and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
