Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Associate Flying Test Bed Lab Tech to join our team in Berkeley, MO.

This tech role supports flight test operations by maintaining, modernizing, troubleshooting, repairing/fabricating, and removing/replacing equipment and systems to keep testing interruptions to a minimum. The selected tech will also play a key role during testing to support engineering real-time during the tests. The job includes working on aircraft systems on the ground and in a lab as well as the potential to fly on the test bed aircraft. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated when working in a dynamic team environment. This position requires the candidate to become a non-flight crew member of an experimental aircraft which requires a medical evaluation by Boeing Medical.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, and components

Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of harnesses, components, test fixtures and test systems

Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and posttest tear-down

Assists the team in ensuring that the test equipment is functional and properly configured for the scheduled test activities

Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements

Supports occasional Saturday and extended shift as necessary to complete the mission

Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic test-related problems

Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
