Job Description
Test Lab Tech Our growing manufacturing client needs a skilled Test Lab Tech for their team. This full-time role will test experimental or prototype mechanical parts and structural products at various stages of the production process. Responsibilities of the Test Lab Tech Set up equipment and conduct test in accordance with established procedures Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications Coordinate and participate in installing unit or system to be tested in test fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power source, and indicating instruments Measure and pour specified test media (hydraulic fluids, hydrocarbon-based fuels, solvents, etc.) into the fixture and test samples Reject nonconformances Accurately record test data results Confer with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and to review test plans Notify supervisor when instrument calibrations are due Perform and document preventative maintenance Qualifications of the Test Lab Tech Previous lab experience, or two years of aerospace/military technician experience, or two years of test environment work history Strong mechanical aptitude Computer proficiency Attention to detail, quality, and safety If you're ready to take the next step in your career at a successful employer, then apply today for this Test Lab Tech opportunity!
