Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Technician

$22-23/hr (1st Shift and 2nd shifts)
Hours:
1st Shift
  • 6:30am
  • 3:00pm 2nd Shift
  • 2:30pm
  • 11:00pm
Duration:

Permanent Position Summary and Special Duties:
As a V&V Test Technician, your day-to-day duties will consist of, but may not be limited to: Execute detailed test procedures according to written instructions in a regulated environment Work closely within a testing team of 5+ including Test Managers, Shift Leads, Engineers, and Technicians Accurately document test results to support regulatory approval and manufacturing release Ensure test results reflect true test conditions and meet FDA documentation standards Identify, report, and escalate any anomalies observed during testing Collaborate with engineering teams for troubleshooting and continuous improvement Provide feedback to improve the accuracy and repeatability of test procedures
Job Specifications:
Education or formal training in a technical field (Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, Vocational Education, etc.) At least 1 year of experience in a Design QA or Manufacturing QA testing role (medical device experience preferred) Hands-on experience using test equipment such as data loggers, scales, and pressure gauges Familiarity with executing test procedures created by others Strong computer skills, including: Working with spreadsheets Running custom software tools Executing command-line instructions Experience with SQL or working with data sets/databases is strongly preferred. Ability to lift 25-30 lbs as needed Flexibility to support weekend work (approx. 5-10% as needed) Strong written and verbal communication skills
