This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who thrives in a precision manufacturing environment and enjoys working with complex electro‑mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly and performance testing of mechanical and/or electro‑mechanical fluid‑control devices in accordance with engineering procedures, blueprints, and schematics. Operate, maintain, and help develop high‑pressure test systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and calibration‑fluid test stands and pumps. Conduct electrical testing and verification using a variety of electronic diagnostic tools. Work within controlled clean‑room environments and conduct particulate analysis with accurate data collection. Troubleshoot, repair, and validate hardware using systematic diagnostic methods. Utilize oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to support testing and analysis. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Lift and move equipment or components up to 50 lbs as needed. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience. Experience using various hand and measurement tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, height gauges, and calipers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical procedures. Proven experience assembling and testing electro‑mechanical hardware. Hands‑on experience with high‑pressure fluid, gas, and cryogenic testing. Proficiency in electrical testing, including dielectric and insulation‑resistance testing. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working in clean‑room environments. Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware using diagnostic tools.
Education Minimum:
High School Diploma Preferred:
Vocational school graduate, Associate Degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology Additional Considerations Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across functions. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to mentor junior technicians. All candidates must meet the US persons criteria.
