Job Description Our client, BAE Systems, is seeking an Environmental Laboratory Technician to perform rigorous environmental testing and stress screening on critical aerospace and defense hardware. This role supports product reliability and durability by executing testing protocols under extreme environmental conditions. Responsibilities Operate and monitor environmental test chambers to simulate extreme hot and cold temperatures and vibration conditions. Execute established test protocols and collect accurate test data. Maintain detailed laboratory logs and testing documentation. Manage multiple testing assignments and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Monitor laboratory systems and technician workflows in a 24/7 operational environment. Maintain laboratory facility equipment to support uninterrupted testing operations. Support paperless documentation and laboratory processes. Follow established testing, documentation, and compliance procedures. Requirements High School diploma, Trade School diploma, or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through advanced study of up to wo years. Technical proficiency in environmental test laboratory operations, including thermal and vibration testing. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Experience maintaining testing records and following strict compliance procedures. Active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance required to start.
