Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of advanced aerospace and defense systems at White Sands Missile Range, NM. This hands-on role supports multiple missile and defense programs by performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and technical support while ensuring compliance with established procedures and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify aerospace equipment and integrated systems. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance to resolve equipment issues. Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Install system upgrades and engineering changes in accordance with technical procedures. Utilize mechanical and electrical test equipment to perform inspections and system verification. Follow standard operating procedures and technical documentation during all maintenance activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate technical findings. Provide technical support and maintain positive customer relationships. Support multiple aerospace and missile defense programs at the customer site. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous hands-on technician experience. Experience with mechanical assembly in aerospace or similar technical environments. Experience using electrical test equipment. Experience following standard operating procedures and technical work instructions. Experience working with critical mechanical or electrical test equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation to the work site. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling or working around explosives. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, military, or field service operations. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a field environment. BI03
