Job Title:
Test Technician Job Description As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing, troubleshooting, and correcting wiring and functional problems in accordance with detailed wiring diagrams and test procedures. You will work with prototype models, interfacing with both production and engineering teams to address and record any issues. Your expertise will extend to programming and testing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for load step applications, developing test simulations, and performing final inspections on tested units. Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, correct, and document wiring and functional problems. Test prototype models according to engineering instructions and electronic systems knowledge. Interface with production and engineering personnel to record and correct nonconformance issues. Program and test PLCs used to control load step applications. Set up electronic components and protective circuits per test specifications. Develop and build test simulations for engineering purposes. Assist in training new testers in test techniques and equipment operation. Perform final inspection operations on all tested units. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Essential Skills Ability to read and follow schematics of complex electrical and mechanical circuits. 2 years of experience in Electronics and Electrical fields. Knowledge of electrical principles and power management. Experience with troubleshooting and testing equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools and multimeters. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of PLC interface and computer programming. Understanding of LO/TO and OSHA electrical safety standards. Experience with mechanical assembly and shop help tasks. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Why Work Here? The shift for this role is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bedford, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $54080.00/yr.Time Off & Holidays Vacation:
10 days (80 hours) for the 2026 calendar year, available after 30 days of employment Paid Time Off (PTO): 8 hours accrued at the beginning of the month following each calendar quarter, per company handbookHolidays:
