Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM EST Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to join our Fairfield, OH manufacturing team. This position will support the testing and troubleshooting of advanced 3-phase UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems used in critical power applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, wiring diagrams, electrical assemblies, AC/DC circuits, and electrical test equipment. Experience with UPS systems, power distribution equipment, switchgear, electrical panels, or industrial electrical equipment is highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform functional and electrical testing of 3-phase UPS systems and electrical assemblies. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings. Troubleshoot electrical, wiring, mechanical, and functional issues. Perform AC/DC circuit testing and analysis. Use multimeters, voltmeters, continuity testers, hipot testers, ground bond testers, and power meters. Configure controls, upload firmware, and verify relays, breakers, sensors, and meters. Document test results, defects, and rework accurately. Follow electrical safety, LOTO, PPE, and 5S/Lean requirements. Communicate issues with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, or electrical assembly. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings. Knowledge of AC/DC and 3-phase electrical systems. Experience using multimeters, voltmeters, continuity testers, hipot testers, ground bond testers, or power meters. Experience with UPS, PDU, switchgear, power distribution equipment, or electrical panels is a plus. Familiarity with breakers, protective relays, CTs, meters, sensors, and control panels preferred. Experience with firmware uploads or electronic controls configuration is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. Knowledge of LOTO, PPE, 5S, Lean manufacturing, and safety procedures. Ability to work independently and follow detailed test procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
