Test Technician
Job Description
Role Summary As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating aerospace electronic control units, rotating machinery, MRO components, and various production subassemblies. Your daily tasks involve configuring testing apparatus, gathering and interpreting performance metrics, resolving technical discrepancies, and collaborating with the engineering department to refine testing procedures that guarantee product compliance. This position is vital to both our production and MRO operations, with a strict focus on maintaining compliance with FAA safety standards. Core Duties Execute production, MRO, and quality assurance testing protocols. Evaluate the performance of aerospace electronic control units, rotating machinery, and board-level subassemblies. Configure and manage the operation of specialized testing instrumentation and fixtures. Gather, evaluate, and record comprehensive test data to ensure product integrity. Investigate testing failures to identify root causes and ensure all performance criteria are satisfied. Finalize technical data logs and generate precise, professional test documentation. Provide support for environmental testing procedures as required. Collaborate with design engineers to enhance and optimize existing testing methodologies. Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all FAA, quality, and environmental regulations. Remain flexible to support occasional travel requirements and off-shift scheduling. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline plus at least two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with one year of experience; equivalent professional backgrounds will be evaluated. Background in electronics testing, aerospace production, MRO, or rotating equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with board-level diagnostics and electronic testing tools is considered an advantage. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate clearly within an organized team. Competency in utilizing Microsoft Office suite or comparable software platforms. Must be a U.S. Person to comply with export control regulations; we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
