division is currently seeking an Electrical Test Technician in Moon Township, PA. Relocation assistance provided to eligible candidates within the US. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do:Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Electrical Test Technician performs electrical and mechanical testing on engineering prototypes and production samples under the direction of the project engineer. In this role, you will document test plans, record data, and provide detailed written test reports. Additionally, the role performs functions as necessary to support all product development and maintenance activities including assembly.Essential Functions:
- Ability to analyze each assigned project with the project engineer to reach an understanding of the test program to be followed, organize and take responsibility for its execution, and record and report the results.
- Ability to look at drawings and assemble new products while working with lead engineers
- Objectively evaluate test results during the testing and reporting phases and clearly communicate conclusions to the project engineer either verbally or in writing.
- Proactively provides recommendations, based on test results and observations, to improve product function or integrity throughout the development stage.
- Establishes a working knowledge of standard test procedures. Fully understands the capabilities, use, and care of available equipment
- Develops automated test programs and systems, when appropriate, to streamline and standardize re-occurring tests. Furnishes documentation so that test system can be maintained and used by others
- Able to lead, direct, coordinate, and bring successful closure to distinct assignments. Uses invention, imagination, creativity, and resourcefulness during the course of assigned work.
- Guides and shares knowledge with other technicians as necessary to improve technician pool's core knowledge and capabilities. Responsibilities related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS):
- Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the M.E.S.H. Management of Environment, Safety, Security, and Health Policies.
- Complete all EHS Environment, Health, and Safety training assigned
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher in an Electrical or Electronics related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of related technical/electrical experience
- Prior experience working with electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products and software
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of related technical/electrical experience preferred Prior software/computer experience in test documentation and analysis
- Able to use programming skills to develop automated instrument control and data acquisition programs.

- Ability to safely use basic, advanced, and specialized machinist tools
- Working knowledge of shop equipment maintenance procedures
- Working knowledge of equipment testing procedures
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to problem solve
- Knowledge of word-processing software
Additional Information:
- Aptitude in the use of hand tools for mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of test apparatus and devices to be tested.
