Shop Tech I, Electrical Test

As a Shop Technician I, Electrical Test, you will support electrical/I&C/mechanical assembly, repair, testing, refurbishment of equipment, components or tooling systems. You will report to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is an anchor position that is required on site 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret basic mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form. Ability/knowledge of electrical equipment and/or painting methods, hand and power tool usage. Use basic electronic theory and components to build or repair assemblies. Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, connectors, or soldering. Operate electrical/electronic test equipment. Successfully complete and maintain applicable site-specific safety training including Electrical Safety; Radiation Safety; Hazards communications; Respiratory protection; Lifting/Handling; PPE Use, and any other required training. Complete certifications as applicable; train to job applicable procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year relevant experience with demonstrated electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills. Nuclear industry experience preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
