2nd Shift | 4:00 PM - 12:30
AM Pay:
$19/hr + $1 shift differential
General Purpose:
The Test Technician I is responsible for performing basic electrical and functional testing on backpack blower units to ensure product quality and performance standards are met. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for individuals with a basic understanding of electrical or electronic testing who are eager to grow in a manufacturing environment. The technician will follow standardized procedures to test, document results, and identify any product issues prior to final release.
Principal Accountabilities:
Perform basic electrical and functional testing on backpack blower units.

Follow established test procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

Inspect products for defects and verify proper operation of electrical components.

Record and document test results accurately in systems or logs.

Identify and report any product failures or inconsistencies to supervisors or engineering teams.

Assist with troubleshooting basic electrical or mechanical issues as needed.

Ensure all testing equipment is properly set up and functioning correctly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Support production teams in meeting daily output and quality goals.

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding testing status and issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.0-1 year of experience in manufacturing, testing, or a related field preferred.

Basic understanding of electrical or electronic testing concepts.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
